Belmopan Hotels: Permitting you to find all the best of Belmopan

A city gets completely devastated by a hurricane, but the hurricane is not able to crush the spirits of the people living in it and they built a new city for themselves.. A tale like this would make a good book…and it would be based on a true set of events of what happened about forty years ago in a place just south of Mexico. This is what basically happened when the smallest capital city of the world was create – Belmopan, Belize.

The first capital city of Belize was called Belize City.  It was on the coast and was hit by virtually every major hurricane – and almost destroyed in the 1960s by storm named Hadey.  It was soon decided to build a new capital in the center of the country named Belmopan. There is a growing number of people that have decided that this city is worth visiting or, like me, have decided to make it a new home. When visiting Belmopan there are many Belmopan hotels to stay at – or, if you like, a bed and breakfast or nearby resort.

Those visiting Belmopan often visit the bi-weekly marketplace, the Parliment building and the Guanacaste Park.  Luckily, there are hotels in Belmopan near all of these sites.

For those that are looking for something a bit different from your normal vacation it is possilble to locate a good number of Belmopan hotels. These Belmopan hotels specialize in high quality adventure travel for family, small groups, and free-spirited individuals. Not everyone coming to Belmopan wants to spend a great deal on lodging – in that case you can stay at several low-budget accomidations that are available.

Lodgings in Belmopan offer many amenities and since there many hotels they often compete on providing better service. They offer facilities like Internet in the rooms, wireless, television, tea and coffee making facilities, telephone and a  host of other facilities, making the stay of their guests truly memorable and pleasurable.

Since Belmopan is centrally located consider making a Belmopan hotel a “base of operations” that you can use to visit to rest of the country.
